This evening Squee managed to notice his fellow tribesmen keeping a close eye on their new ransom chest. Sure enough, it was nearly full, and ready to be given to the idol during the next ritual.

Suddenly, Squee flinched as the sounds of weapons clashing in the distance could be heard to the west of the fort.

Caught tresspassing, and killing tribesmen! Laghed didn't seem to worry about Squees approach, as he lifted his spear and growled his non-sense.

Squee decided to show this orc why savages are the ones who now walk these crypts.

After gaining the advantage, the chase was on.

A couple rabid wolves must have smelled fresh meat in the air, and decided to attack the injured orc. Laghed lay dead soon after.

After his return to the living, Laghed kept to his non-sense, still showing no fear in the heart of savage territory.

Squee would have none of this, and prepared for a second assault.

This time Laghed earned the advantage, and Squee made a quick dash as he frantically tried to wrap his wounds.

It seems as though the rabid wolves were still hungry, as this time they decided Squee would be their best chance for a meal.

Once Squee had tended to his wounds, he motioned to the orc, that it would be best if they did battle under the sacred old Yew tree. Squee began with a tribal war dance, meant to pay respect to an opponent about to give his life for the great idol.

Laghed seemed to have his own dance as well.

The fight was close as Squee almost lost an arm, but due to the tribe having extensive knowledge in weaponry, Squee's spear prevailed.

This fight wasn't enough to convince Laghed to leave, so Squee gripped his spear and prepared for another attack.

Laghed tripped, but Squee believes it was his own fault, as Laghed was the one who wet the ground near the tree to begin with.

Orcs are some of the most stubborn creatures you will ever come across. Maybe that explains how they have survived along with the savages over the years.

Laghed actually charges the savage fort! Shortly after arriving he is met by a few tribesmen warriors, and Squee chases him a little south of the camp.

Finally, we agree on something.

I guess Squee should have seen this one coming.

Was rather disconcerting to be killing shamans around your fortress and then have a warrior run up and start casting on me, teleport from a roof, I was always amazed by the AI on AI but you took the cake!

Note from Laghed posted on the savage fort:

*unintelligble scribble of a stick man being burned and lots of blood rubbed into the paper, a green stick man seems to be flying and lasers shooting out of his eyes, but they could just be long lines of drool.*
