Hail dark friends,

The hunt was good and filled with glorious conflict.

In my first encounter I took on a mage who by all appearances was strong and in full health.
I did see this young lady lay waste to this lich in a matter of seconds without taking but maybe 10 points of damage.
I hit her with a standard paralyze, explosion, e-bolt combo. But before you can say “Absolute Zero” she was dead.
(Maybe it’s my master Evaluate Intelligence?)

The loot was moderate, with a full complement of regs and some GM armor and a GM mace.



Now my next encounter, was a bit more involved and much more rewarding
As usual I watched my quarry for some time before attacking. Nothing too interesting.
This young lady used pure magic for battle as well as healing. Using EI on her I was able to ascertain she was at or near 100 INT.

I decloaked just as she was finishing off a lich. I then dropped a mana bomb on her followed by a DP kantana assault. This was enough to free her spirit.



The noteworthy thing about this encounter was the cool selection of goodies.
I got at lease 4 GM weapons, magic weapons, magic leather armor, full reagents, a cool colored chest and a whole damn rune library.

The mage above would have been well served to have several Greater Heal potions, Greater Cure potions and some magic trapped pouches.
This individual also had *far* too much loot. Never ever carry your rune library with you!

Another encounter I had last night was really quite fun.
I didn’t get any loot or even kill him, but this guy actually fought back!
I attacked this mounted mage with my magic attack and he then immediately opened fire on me.
I was past the first half of my attack and moving into the melee portion when he began trying to cast offensive spells against me.
This is the value of a skilled swordsman with high dex. The guy could not get off a spell!!
He tried to cast Harm on me, but I reflected it (that was his plan), He then tried a couple e-bolts but was interrupted by my very fast veg-o-matic action. At this point he is wracked with pain from my deadly poison and down to like 8 hit points. He recalls.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he arrived at his destination DOA.
