Hail dark friends,
The halls of Wind are a very different place these days. I often witness those that would come here to fight the dragon running for their life past these lich rooms!
This may not seem interesting until you understand the layout of Wind and realize that these dragons are chasing these warriors all over creation. Also I have seen many tamers lately. Perhaps it is not that there are more tamers but possibly just less of those willing and able to kill the dragons for loot.
I found Lidia in the first lich room causing great grief to the inhabitants.
Her magic reflect was still active when I decloaked, so I opened with an explosion spell.
She immediately ran off and I followed, stumbling about on the stalagmites for a moment while she made her escape.
I decided to wait near the entrance as I thought she might wish to return to pay me a visit.
I was not disappointed.
However, just as I was ready to exact justice, Dark Lore happened by with a dragon.
Bah! I would have to wait ‘till he has passed.
As Dark Lore and his dragon made their way down the corridor behind me, Lidia decided now would be a good time to proclaim her intentions in Wind.
Not only did she shout at the top of her voice “I like to hunting liches”, but she did so right in my ear!
Ah, I cannot stand this any longer!
Prepare to die vile one!
I attacked Lidia with my sword and stayed with her as she tried in to get to town.
I was relentless and provided no opportunity to heal nor recall.
Without armor or healing, a mage cannot last long against the sword of a true master.
Lidia died on this spot and I very nearly did as well, for as I was about to issue the final blow, I lost my worldly connection to this place. I quickly tried to reconnect with my body. When I finally returned I was pleased to find that I was not only still alive but I had also been victorious in my battle.
Lidia, you are indeed a fine dresser, but these caves are no place for one of such high breeding.
Enter my caves again, without the red scarf, and you shall meet with the same fate.
I left with Lidia a backpack, one that contained all she would need to return home. Also contained in that pack was a book, a manuscript explaining all that is required of her should she desire to return to this place.
Until next time,
Adam Ant
