Hail dark friends,
After making sure the lich of both Wind and Yew were safe, I set out for dungeon Shame to check on the red mages that call this place home.
Upon entering one of the many passageways that lead to the mages, I spied one Tim Branch.
Master Branch was using both Magery and Bardic skills to kill the elder gazers.
If Tim was not to don the blood-drenched scarf, I would arrange a moment together where he might explain his blatant disregard for our laws.
I decided to wait for Master Branch just outside the elder gazer’s room, as I was sure he would be retreating there shortly.
Unfortunately for both of us, the gazer’s powerful magical attack denied me the opportunity to acquaint Master Branch with our laws.
Just as I was pondering this young man’s ill fortune, another rode up and looted him dry, right down to his sandals and robe!
Ah, Black Knight. You’re not so good as your title might suggest, now are you?
While I might be willing to overlook the way you stripped that poor man of his meager possessions, I cannot, and will not, look the other way while you prance about these halls showing utter contempt for our laws!
Stand fast Black Knight, for this evening you will learn something of what it means to have all of your possessions spread across the floor for all to see.
Black Knight and I battled back and forth for a while; me waiting outside the gazer’s room, Black Knight ducking through the gate when things started to look bleak.
The attack I used this eve against Black Knight was not one of my usual. I have been given a truly noble steed, one which holds unyielding loyalty to me and will never stray. Aye, the gods have given me this gift and I have called upon it to help me carry out my duties.
All at once, Black Knight stepped from our world into that colorless void we call death.
Heh, I see the belongings of Master Branch here.
Well, these are of no interest to me…
