Hail dark friends,

Last eve I was tending to the library when I got a call reporting skirmish in dungeon Shame. I quickly strapped on my sword and headed to the mage tower.

When I arrived I could see that there was a battle in progress just to my north.



I continued my stealthy approach towards the sounds of battle. Alas, as I arrived, all that was left were the corpses. There were corpses from both GUL and TSO present, but I hear GUL was victorious in this battle!



After a moment spent looking over the battle scene, I decided to head down to Shame level I. I found the one called Short Bus hacking away at the earthen creatures.
Short Bus was not in compliance, so I immediately attacked.

This heathen was fortunate enough to escape with only a few deep gashes.

It was not long however until Short Bus returned—with his bandanna!
Ah, good man!



I showed my appreciation for his willingness to abide by our laws with a heal.
I then set off for the Elder Gazer’s room.

When I arrived it was clear someone had just been here. Not knowing if this hunting was legal or not, I decided to stay for a bit and see who was responsible and if they were following the laws GUL has set forth.



I did not have to wait long before Maximus and Max stepped through a magical gate.



Maximus was looking quite impressive astride that fine mount.
Not the usual heathen, but a trespasser nonetheless!

“Maximus, you are in violation of the laws which govern these caves and must be put to death.”

I watched his tactics for a moment, and saw how he would lure the elder gazer to his dragon, then hide while his beast would kill it.



“Prepare yourself young Maximus, for it is now time to earn the gold and fame you’ve come here to collect!”



As Maximus cozied himself against the belly of the beast, I armed my deadly poisoned blade and stepped from the shadows.



The poison from my blade went to work almost immediately.
I continued to slash at this intruder, leaving him no time for escape or heal.

Maximus dropped to my feet moments later.



I slipped back into the shadows and watched as his beasts engaged the local creatures.



‘Twas not long before this intruder’s beast followed him into the afterlife.

“Maximus, unless you can abide our laws, do not return to these caves lest you suffer the same fate.”
