The Misadventures of the Lords of Loot.
Episode #9: Kimball and Hancock, Dread Pirates
A message from Captain Hancock: Ho there, landlubbers! It be me (Hancock) and Kimball, ready as ever to be releavin' ye of your loot! If'n ye be thinkin' that Looters Inc. can only reach ya on land, then ye be drunker than an old sea dog at closin' time! Har har har!
Our story begins with Hancock in the captain's chair making his usual rounds in the seas of Sosaria. After a few minutes, he caught a glimpse of someone on the horizon and gave chase. Poor Xan was too stupid (or perhaps too unattended) to run.
With deadly accuracy (and low magery), Hancock placed a poison field on Xan's deck.
What a shock, the unattended macroer takes a dirt nap. We are still not sure to this day if it was Xan who decided to cast flame strike or his illegal third party program. We will probably never know.
Drat! Xan is in the unlootable spot, so Kimball comes to assist Hancock in his quest for loot. He then instructs Hancock that looting this corpse is probably not going to be possible, and the two move on to find more victims.
After quite a bit of sailing and fishing, the two spot a young lad most adept at hiding. Your attempt to elude them is futile, swine!
A few well laid poison fields, arrows, and greater explosions bring "Venom" to Davey Jones' Locker.
Kimball commands the tillerman with precision as Hancock moves in for the loot. What treasure awaits our infamous heroes?
As you can see, one of the items on Venom's corpse would be the key to his ship. What luck, since the ship is loaded to the crow's nest with loot! Kimball boards the vessel and the fun begins.
Venom's hold is a dream. Tons of reagents, all for our taking!
Unbeknownst to Hancock, his crimes had mounted and Lord British had enough. The stuffy old coot punishes those who cure the Sea Trance. *sighs*
Since they key to the ship has been looted, Kimball goes to find someone willing to help secure the ship. At the Looters Inc. armory, Kimball finds a few friends who wish to help. Nyxmir recalls onto the new ship in case someone decides to recall in and get personal.
The ghost of Venom must have timed out or used the Help-Stuck option, because there was no wait to dry dock the ship. Chalk another one up for Looters Inc!
Today's Lesson: Who needs a gold sink, when you've got Looters Inc?
