Episode #25:  Improving the Odds

For any of you who have been to the Terathan Keep Champion Spawn you may have noted the utter lame-osity of the “safe” spot and those who use it. The big problem with the existence of such a massive “safe” spot is that oodles of people end up standing and casting area effect spells on the spawn and the champion. This causes a large reduction in power scroll getting odds for those who obviously deserve it (that’s me and you).

On this day Regulus and Prodigy (Amatsu) of Looters Inc decided to recruit a friend and do something about it.

To quote Al Pacino in Scarface: “Say hello to my little friend!”

Optionally, I could paraphrase The Seven Dwarves: “Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It’s off to collect souls we go! *whistle whistle*”

I like this guy already! He’s a looter!

This is harder then it looks. He keeps stopping to kill and loot things!

Ah my prey… so unsuspecting…. so content… SOOO about to be dead!

This worked better then I could have possibly imagined!

A few more ate it in their mad dash to get away from my friend.

Haste makes waste… always remember that.

As soon as my friend is dispatched the cockroaches’ scurry out of their hidey holes…

Woohoo!!! Our handiwork has been noticed!

I hate doing all that work and not getting credit.

Curses! It appears that all hope hasn’t been dashed! This calls for drastic measures!

Amatsu: Grandmaster Lurer

Did I say grandmaster? I meant “mostly good.”

Although the Balron didn’t last long he did manage to frighten a significant number of people off the ledge and to their deaths.

And how much did this increase my power scroll getting chances?

Significantly!
