The Misadventures of the Lords of Loot.
Episode 3: Starting on Great Lakes
Looters Inc. has decided that it is our duty to service more than one shard. In an effort to better serve the public, we decided that Great Lakes would be our second home. Needless to say, we have gotten off to a great start with the help of a few friends. However, the road is a long one to looter fame. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Tristen Kal'Thas the stealth warrior. I would like to share with you some of my first week's antics in this wonderful place! Hats off to you Great Lakes for living up to my expectations! Note: most of these loots happened while I was training, so no real looter skill was involved except being the first to get the loot.
I had just reached the 10k mark, and I was shearing sheep in Delucia, Trammel for more bandages. I have been saving for a few days with the hope that I could purchase a boat to better work on my hiding. Why buy a boat when you can loot one? I came upon Sharidan's corpse and about 3 or 4 other people killing cows for their leather. Figuring nothing was in the body, I checked just to be sure. Much to my surprise the goods lay there untouched and unmolested. I quickly began scooping the loot into a spare bag I was carrying, and noticed a gold object I was quite familiar with.
I recall off of the key thinking "This is too good to be true." The boat is only a few tiles away from the shores of Magincia. I maneuver the boat so that I may become its new captain.
I dry dock the ship and place it back into the water to confirm that it is mine.
The only thing better than this boat, is the knowledge that I didn't pay a damn thing for it. I rename the boat so that I may always remember the kindness, generosity, and stupidity of Sharidan.
While training in Dead City, I came across the body of Red Raver.
The orcs attempted to pick a fight, but since they did such a good job defending my loot, I shall not slay them today.
They may not be so lucky tomorrow.
My second day on Great Lakes was an amazing one. I was still training at the Vesper, Trammel Cemetery since I would die anywhere else. I had just restocked on some reagents (i.e.: ran around and picked them up. I told you I was new!). I returned to see that someone else had decided to molest MY monsters. I shall return the favor with a loot!
Cat decided to donate a lot to the looter cause. I do not discriminate when looting. Whether you are a newbie or 4 year veteran, all your loot are belong to us.
Today's Lesson: Look out Great Lakes! I think I'm going to like it here.
