The Misadventures of the Lords of Loot.

Episode #16:  Goza The Idiot Scammer

Setup:  With the advent of the Dragon Scale scenario on Chesapeake the members of Looters, Inc. were able to make quite a profit by selling the scales they managed to loot off the bodies of those unprepared for Felucca.

Our story starts with Regulus standing at the Britain Bank trying to determine the price of Dragon Armor.

Note: I must apologize for the quality of the pictures as I was quite unprepared for what happened next.

This is Goza. He’s an idiot and a scammer. Feel free to click his picture to see him on uo.com

Anyway, I’m standing around at the Britain Bank trying to figure out how much these bloody scales are worth when I walk up to our idiot friend and I ask “How much is the scale armor selling for?”

Goza: “I don’t know, but would you want to know how to duplicate your llama?”

Hmm… Anybody else smell a scam?

Me: “Uh, sure”

Let’s play along, shall we?

Well, this is going to make the pictures harder to see… curses! I’ll do my best to translate from crappy redish to words.

Goza: “If  I tell you, will you make me one?”

Of course… let me do this LOTS so I can lose my account… *sighs*

Me: “Is this a dupe?”

Just trying to make things perfectly clear.

Goza: “Yes”

I’d say that’s clear.

Goza: “My friend told me about it”

Not that I asked but…. Riiiigggghhhhtttttt.

Goza: “First set a macro for Arm/Disarm”

Goza: “for your Right Hand”

Goza: “Now equip a spell book or rune book.

I’m still playing along.

Me: “and that’s it?”

Goza: “It will disarm the spell book”

Goza: “drag the llama statue over your inventory”

Sheesh… this is pretty roundabout… this is more work the waiting 3 years for the damn things.

Me: “done”

Goza: “And press the macro… but don’t worry”

Goza: “it should disappear”

DON’T WORRY!?!?!

Me: “Sure did”

Of course I’m lying. I played along up to this point but now I’m angry.

Unfortunately in my anger I missed the shot of him saying: “Now log out and back in and two will be in your pack.”

Of course all you highly intelligent people out there realize what the scam is… don’t try it… Goza won’t be trying it anymore…

MUAHAHHA!!!!!!! If you guessed that was a GM page then you win a cookie.

Was it right that I called a GM? Well, I may as well do it now before he creates a real problem and they get some misspelling irate player saying “GIMME STUFF.” Besides, I like the gods and I pretend they like me.

This happened in about 15 seconds. Normal wait is about 30 minutes. I think they lied when they said they don’t deal with scamming anymore.

Let’s have a little fun with him before the gods take him….

Me: “What kind of idiot do you take me for?”

Goza: “?”

That would be the “I know I just got busted” question mark.

Me: “You’re a poor scammer.”

Let’s draw him out a little.

Goza: “I enjoy scamming”

Goza: “and it works alot of the time”

Damn, I can’t believe he fell for it… keep digging that grave!

Me: “I’m sure that it does”

Goza: “cause you trams”

Goza: “are usually stupid”

Me: “Care to head to Fel?”

He insulted my honor. He needs to die.

Goza: “this is a smith”

Of course… they are rarely willing to go.

I missed another shot here telling him to go to www.uopowergamers.com/lootersinc.shtml

I told him I’d immortalize him in an episode

Me: “I think I’ll title it ‘Goza The Idiot Scammer”

Goza: “Idiot”

Me: “Yes, which word didn’t you understand?”

Goza: “ive successfully scammed 3 rares since yesterday”

I think those speak for themselves…. Man is he ever burying himself.

Moments later Goza vanished not to be seen again and I received the following message:

I told you they liked me.

Today’s lesson: Scamming is bad, mmm’kay?
