The Misadventures of the Lords of Loot.
Episode #20: Quickies, Part 1
Not every encounter lasts long enough to make an episode. Hell, most of the time we get the goods, get called "newbie" and its all over. Since these don't make good episodes on their own, Regulus and I (Finster the Llama God) have put together a few short episodes to show how quick and easy some loots can be.
Our first quickie takes place during the first week of Finster's life on Great Lakes. While getting newbie items from extra characters, Finster spied a young man in orange by the name of Edward moving a large sum of gold on the ground. In one swift movement, Finster performs a drive-by-looting, and our story begins.
Now why do people constantly say "wtf?" Is it not blatantly obvious that I just looted/stole/killed you or something of yours?
As you can see, Finster (yellow robe) is quick to find what is troubling poor Edward.
Never let it be said that we don't care about the community. You are never too old or wise to stop learning.
Now if we didn't have screenshots, no one would have believed us. Sure 10k isn't that much gold, but on a new shard it means reagents, runebooks, and a full spellbook are possible in minutes. Our hats are off to you, Edward, for taking this lesson so well!
Before Finster was very developed, he used to constantly patrol Destard for riches and fame, as well as loot. When the loot ran low, he would keep himself occupied with the dragons that made this massive cave their home. Every once in awhile (constantly), Finster would meet his end at the hands of one of these fearsome beasts. He had just returned from getting a few reagents as our story begins.
I love it when dragons are kind enough to guard victims' bodies for me, but I really don't like being the victim.
After gathering up my belongings, I could smell the distinct odor of decay in the air. Loot! I quickly scoured the area to discover the remains of Lord Galin. One item in particular caught my eye. A boat key! Now you will also notice that I have two keys in my pouch. One would be the key to my own boat. And yes I realize that I almost lost it on my previous body. *Slaps forehead*
Lo and behold, the key is good. I point the tillerman to shore, and we are off as fast as the wind can take us!
I thank the, Lord Galin!
Nyxmir, The Disposable Warrior, had just met his end at the hands of two house fighters. Curious to see what these two were going to do with his loot, he waits inside their house, and our story begins.
They may have gotten my magical box of PvP equipment, but Kaltex was not prepared for what would happen upon forcing the lock open.
Kaltex and his partner burned though quite a few bandaids, cure reagents, and greater cure potions, but to no avail.
It is one thing to kill someone during a fight. It's just too funny to kill them when you're already dead.
Today's Lessons: 1.Checks are our friends. 2.Don't carry your ship key. 3.Fear the death box.
